(THE HEAD HAD BEEN SOLD)
Peavey 6505 cabinet is still for sale.
The cabinet is in PERFECT condition and has very rarely been used.
It has not been scratched or damaged in any way, and the wheels are perfect.
It seriously is as close to mint condition as possible.
Suitable live gigs or for just practicing at home.
I bought the cab new two years ago thinking I would use it for gigs. Unfortunately the band broke up almost right away, and it has been sitting in my room at home since I left for college.
If anyone has any questions about the equipment or would like to test it for example, please feel free to ask.
I might be willing to deliver the cab as long as my cost for travelling is covered.
Hoping to sell for around the €400 mark.

How are the pre amp valves and did u revalve for a reason ( i mean did a valve blow )

I amn't inculding a transformer in the price but its running fine through an old transformer that was lying around the house. (for an american waffle maker i think)
There is no switch at the back for converting voltages im afraid, the transformer has to do that. Just plugging the amp into the wall by using a simple adapter wouldn't be possible.
The pre-amp valves are still the stock ones that came with it. The amp still sounds great so they must be OK.
I replaced the stock ruby tubes with new ones simply because I heard they wear out after about a year. To be honest I doubt it really needed to be done because the amp was used so little. I never heard any lessenig of sound quality anyway.

Yes, the head came from music123.com (an american website) so it needs a step down transformer to work.
I've searched around online and they're easy to find and are pretty cheap.
If it's an absolute dealbreaker for anyone i could include the transformer i've been using (it is old and pretty damaged however).

Im in Tralee. About a 10 min walk from the bus station. (I could get a drive with the amp to the station no bother after you've had a look at it)

Well i might b able to help u there. If ur planning upgradeing the car when u get it i ve loads of spares from my twin turbo build. Universal stuff like clocks, ecu, alarm, dvd players, gps trackers. So if u need anything like that just let me know. Everything will b on ebay and donedeal by the weekend.

that's no problem dude being honest im looking for cash myself but in seeing this amp i couldn't not suggest a trade i highly recommend this amp as has foxx if people have the 1200 theyd be a fool to pass this up best of luck with the sale dude

I'm willing to work with u on price but a decent 220/240 transformorer is 200 euros and then to amp completely the mercury output transformer upgrade will hav to b done so that's another 200 euro. But it's up to u on it

I've been offered €420 for the cab if I drive it to Dublin. But with the cost for petrol and the hassle of actually making the trip €420 was just too low.

OK, I have a week off work coming up so i'd be able to deliver the cab to anyone who's interested then.
Having said that, i'm in Cork and I really don't want to carry the cab across the entire country.
