Description:

Itll be a while before i can post actual pics of this guitar. The axe affectionately known as 'The Twangstation' but it is this model here

http://www.gearasaurus.com/item.asp?sku=FEN262000

and in excellent nick. Ive had it for about 18 months maybe.

A very nice guitar that is no longer in production although there are still a few lying around. There is one in music maker at the moment and one in Sound Gear in Portobello.

This is essentially a Tele but with a twist. it has 2 humbuckers and a set neck.

The pick ups give it a bit more bite and aggression but it also does strat and tele sounds when you pop the tap.

The set neck not only feels great (very smooth) but it gives that extra sustain.

A very easy guitar to play especially up at the high frets.

professionally set up with new strings and hard case.

Any ? please ask and ill try to get some pics up as soon as i can.

Interested in this, can I try it out?

What colour is it?

Was it made in the USA? Any idea what year?

Yes you can try it I live near City West if thats any good to you.

Colour is same as in the pic. Its called Black Cherry Burst and is lovely to look at. Defo the best finish of any of this model. Really shows off the flamed maple (hence the initials FMT!) top nicely.

It is Korean made with high quality finishing. Very well built and very smooth to play. I think it was made in 2003 or 2004. i will check on that.

I will aslo consider a swap. I want to try something different.

Yeah I mentioned the one in MM in the original post. That is the amber finish which i didnt think looked as nice as the one i bought, black cherry burst. it really is a gorgeous finish. looks a bit like the finish on PRS guitars.

thanks for the link to the other pics. they are really good. the middle ones especially coz they show the finish and the back of the neck. see the base of the neck where it meets the body? that area is so comfortable. it actually nags at me now about selling it. the palm of your hand fits perfectly and you can reach all the way to the top of the fret board.

ill take some pics on the weekend but i have a problem with my internet connection at home so i may not be able to post them. we'll see...
