Stove, Godin 6 years old French enameled

Description (last update: 4 years ago)

SOLD, for more stoves go to antiquestoves.ie .This is a Godin Regence modern stove from Godin, the renowned French stove manufacturers. All information on this can be found on the godin.fr site as it is still being made now. Costs well over 1,600 new. It has been used for the past 6 years in France. It is in perfect condition. Any marks in the pictures are camera flash or smudges. Fab. stove, first to see will buy. The only place there is any damage to the enamel is at the back of the matching 6" flue outlet pipe, where there are a few chips to the enamel, but these will not be seen when in place. It is a wood burner meaning it will burn wood, turf, briquettes, wood pellets, etc. just not coal. it gives out 6.5 kw of heat. H 60 x L 65 x D 32 cm . It features a large heat resistant glass viewing window. You can either have the flue come out on top as it is now or out the back, see photos. This stove would be able to take quite large logs and is a really classic looking solid cast iron stove in a lovely honey brown enamel. Galway City location.

hi, I have been looking at some wood burning stoves, brompi brand and they say only seasoned timber can be used, not turf or bricettes. Multi fuel I thought lets u burn all fuels. How is this different as u say u cannot burn coal. Is it multifuel or a wood burner
Ninak 4 years ago
@lacken28:Hi, yes this stove is not a multi fuel. A multi fuel burns coal as well as wood, turf etc. But wood burners in general burn wood, turf, briquettes, etc, just not coal. Coal and anthracite burn at higher temps so that is the reason for the difference. Turf and briquettes have a similar heat output to wood. The Brompi stove you are looking at may be a duel combustion or some other more elaborate stove when it will only burn seasoned wood in particular. The Godin I have for sale is a straight forward wood burner and will burn turf and briquettes as all basic wood burners do. A problem only arises when attempting to burn coal or anthracite. Hope this helps.

Hi there.
I'm looking for a Deville Monopole 115 in blue?
Do you have one or know where I'd get one?
