Description:
I have tested these speakers and there seems to be an issue with the sound of one of them once the volume is increased passed even modest levels. There is, what I can only describe, a regularly occurring interference-like sound that comes across them and hence the FREE asking price. Perhaps someone out there can better diagnose/fix this problem. Otherwise they can be brought to the recycling centre.
Come complete with cabling; this is the old school copper wire variety at each end.
The Wharfedale Denton 2XP is the smallest in this longstanding company's new generation of `XP' (Extra Power) loudspeakers. It is a two-way bookshelf unit, measuring only 13 x 9 x inches (355 X 246 x 222mm), yet it can handle up to 25 watts of amplifier power. One watt produces 88dB, SPL (sound pressure level). The drive units measure 8 inches (zoomm) and 2 inches (50mrn) respectively and the crossover frequency is 1,400 Hz.
