SAP SD/MM Analyst

The functional SAP analyst will work as a member of the Apple SAP Global IS&T Organisation to develop and implement SAP logistics solutions at Apple. A key part of the role is to take ownership for high profile and complex support issues. The successful candidate will work closely with planning teams, order management, logistics, Global and EMEIA SAP projects teams, SAP support and development teams, third party logistics partners and third party software vendors.
Responsibilities

· Act as point of contact for EMEIA business and corporate IS&T in the area of logistics

· Work with business users to understand business requirements

· Provide conceptual and detailed design to meet business needs

· Perform necessary SAP configurations

· Write detailed specifications for development of custom programs

· Test and implement the automated solution

· Assist support team with resolution of complex support tickets

Experience Required :

2+ years’ experience implementing SAP SD/MM, including iDocs
5+ years’ experience of order management processes:
Sales Order Processing
Delivery Creation
Integration with third party warehouse providers
Availability checking
Backorder processing
Product allocation
Hands-on SAP configuration experience
Experience of collecting requirements, design and implementation of custom SAP solutions
Previous experience of software development and project management methodologies to implement key projects
Proven project success in delivering quality/timely solutions
Strong knowledge of business disciplines (order management, ATP, Allocation, Logistics etc.)
Experience in working as part of a Global SAP team desirable
Knowledge of other SAP modules including LE or WM also desirable
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education:

Educated to degree level, preferably related to computer studies

Key contacts for this role are primarily based in the UK and Cork. Occasional travel will be needed to locations within the EMEIA region.
