Runway Medical is a provider of a range Healthcare solutions across Ireland, specialising in recruitment of nurses and other healthcare staff for our clients, both public and private.

As part of a new project, we are seeking to recruit an experienced nurse to lead and manage a project in the area of Cardiology and Health Promotion.

Specifically this project will deal with the area of Chronic Heart Failure. The successful applicant will be involved in the post discharge management of patients, carrying out follow up visits, and delivering a program of lifestyle and health promotion advice. They will be working as part of a team that includes Consultants, SPR's and other stakeholders.

To be considered for this position you will need to have the following attributes:

At least 3 years post regitration experience, with experience in the area of Cardiology a distinct advantage
Current registration with ABA
Valid certification in Manual Handling, CPR and Infection Control
Proof of recent Garda Cleareance
Access to own transport ( you will be required to travel around the Greater Dublin area, mileage expenses will be paid)
Profciency with standard office packages ( e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
A flexible attitude to working patterns and requirements
Experience in similar projects, or nursing research would be advantageous

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
