Adventure Centre Events Manager

Rate: €20,000 approx. (Depending on Experience) + Bonus upon successful achievement of targets+
Mobile Phone + Expenses.

Due to further expansion, Xtreme.ie is now looking for an experienced person as our Events Manager. This is a very exciting role and has excellent growth opportunities for the right candidate.

Role & Responsibilities
• Managing one if Xtreme.ie’s exceptionally busy Corporate & Teambuilding Adventure Centres
• Working on your own initiative you will manage all site staff, activities, health & safety and
operational systems and processes, booking engine admin, site maintenance, as well as cash
handling and other site tasks
• You will manage a large number of high end groups to individuals on a daily basis
• Working week is typically Monday – Friday. Saturday & Sunday work is required from time to time
• You will help develop new systems and strategies to ensure safe, successful and profitable running of our Adventure Centre

• Able to easily manage all aspects of running a very busy adventure centre
• Must be able to think outside the box and on your feet

• Organised & Methodical
• Used to managing and exceeding expectations

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in an similar fast paced environment.

Experience
Required minimum of 2 years senior event management experience or experience in a similar role.
More experienced candidates may be entitled to a higher salary level.

Qualifications
None necessary but relevant qualifications are a bonus
BSc in Outdoor Education
Single Pitch Award (SPA) or similar
Rock Climbing experience
