Yamaha QY-70

Swiss Army knife of MIDI devices: Hardware MIDI sequencer with built in GM/XG sound module in "brick" form factor. Works on batteries or power supply. Can be used for jamming to chords - just enter a chord track, select style and jam. Or can be used to record ideas from internal or external MIDI keyboard - either realtime or step-recording.

No box, no manuals, the paint has chipped off. The internal battery has been recently replaced.

Boss DR-5 Rhythm Section

An instrument+sequencer box. Similar to QY-70, except: it's larger, has only four tracks of MIDI, has a guitar input with monophonic guitar-to-MIDI converter and some basic amp sim, and the sounds are by Roland not by Yamaha.

Usable bass and piano samples. The note entry method in this one is not a traditional piano-style keyboard, but a button matrix resembling guitar frets. Can run from batteries too - may be used to write backing tracks/write down ideas while away from your main instrument.

Have original manuals for that one (English and German), no box. The power supply is for a different Roland device, but it works fine. Some scratches on the outside, but works perfectly.
