Description:

Was working fine until just before Christmas when it just died while using it. Not sure what's wrong with it, but have no interest in repairing it myself, had given it to my brother months ago and he had been using it, he's gotten a new laptop for Christmas, so I'm just going to shift it for repair/parts.

This machine is essentially an inspiron with an XPS Screen and CD/DVD drive.
The XPS broke some time after I gave it to him. Problem with the video card. He wanted to swap out the card from an Inspiron we had, into the XPS but the motherboard on the Inspiron wouldn't take it. So we ended up with this.

I do not have the remains of the XPS to sell.

Battery was working fine before. We have tried taking the battery out and trying to run off the power adapter alone, but no joy, so I suspect the battery is still in good health.

@JD990 hard another to sell it as a whole, so wouldn't be keen on splitting. If you were interested you could take the screen and sell on the other parts yourself if that was an option
