It has 2 different connection types. Wireless and wired. And the processor is not dual-core. There are about 3 dual-core Atom processors but trust me, the price would go over 200 second-hand. ;)

I'm using Ubuntu Debian Gnu witch is Linux. If your videocard is ok for me, u can completly format the hard drive. ;)
