em last time i checked first person who offers askin price is first in line irrelevant to double dealin n technically i was first to offer askin mayb some ppl shud brush up on the rules of the site

@thesandman, When i said to seller 'to be fair' I did mean it was very fair of them to reply and let me know that as i'd been first to show an interest and make an offer .....it was fair for the seller to ask if i'd be able to offer asking and to offer items for sale. As you know, I'm well aware of the site rules.....the seller is obliged to sell to the first bidder offering asking regardless of any conditional offers.....but at sellers can pick at their discretion when asking is offered. Rule 6 if i remember correctly.

if they are obliged to accept first offer of asking,thats it..you are using this site long enough now to know that we all play by that rule..and you are third to offer asking price on this anyway..the seller is new here,you are not

the proper outcome is the first to offer asking price should be the first person you consider dealing with..if you need advice,contact the moderators

@colinstewart2600, no offence taken! I'm stuck for a welder and heat gun, which is why i offered on both, we've all offered asking at this stage so it's pretty much in your hands and at your discretion. If you want an unbiased answer then ask a moderator to decide....that way there's no reprecussions. Kind regards.
