@haven: Never used it for that myself but absolutely no reason why u couldnt. I often experiment with mics on instrumentsI that have pre amp/ pick ups. I used Opus 53 them for picking up instruments in stage performances so they are quite sensitive compare to dynamic mics. u need 48v to work them

@tomslat :I May be interested. Ive had Cubase SX so i can do a lot of the basics with Pro Tools but mixing is the real issue i have. If you are a Sound Engineer and can help maybe we can work something out ?
