The LG Viewty KU990 runs on GSM Quad-band network and UMTS 2100 MHz network, it has a 3 inch, 240 x 400 pixel resolution, 262.144 color TFT display and has a 5 MP camera with Auto-focus, Schneider-Kreuznach lens and Xenon flash. Video recording up to 120 fps is possible and there is another front camera for video calling. The LG Viewty KU990 is armed with 170 MB of internal memory, expandable with a micro SD slot. Connectivity options with the LG Viewty include USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP. The Viewty will also come with the standard media player that can play AAC, eAAC, MP3, WMA audio formats and 3GP and MPEG4 video format.
Borrowing from the high-end digital camera industry, ISO 800 and SmartLight technology help create bright pictures, even indoors and at night. Users are able to enjoy a wider and much more vivid display than with most phones on the market through the large full-color touch-screen and Mobile XD engine. LG Viewty KU990 can even recognize handwritten text input via the stylus.
LG Viewty KU990 is able to record video at up to 120 frames per second, which is the highest frame speed ever for a handset camera. This feature allows users to watch seamlessly all DVD-like content, even in slow motion. LG Viewty KU990 also features a quick search-enabled jog wheel, which helps users quickly raise or lower the volume during calls as well as easily zoom in or out when taking photos or video.
The most impressive feature to me is the consumers can view DivX files from popular online video communities such as Stage6.com at ten times the speed of WCDMA through the HSDPA 3.6 high-speed Internet access capability.
