the phone sells in the shops for over 400 euro and after a quick look around i think my asking price of 250 euro is the cheapest on the site sorry but 180 is way too low

blanchards
blanchards asked a question 03/08/2009 11:03 am (2 years ago):

I can't see €400 on any network. Its only €299 new from O2 on prepay and if I move to Vodafone its €289

Sim free the phone costs over 400 euro in carphone warehouse which is the cheapest. I know on a network its not 400 but because this phone is sim free your not locked to a network which is why sim free phones are generally way more expensive. I would let it go for 220

I know it's an unwanted prize but do you have a shop docket and guarantee to go with it. Should it go faulty some proof of purchase is required.

no sorry there's no purchase docket as you can understand the phone is only new i can assure you sure the manufacturers warranty covers any manufacturing faults with the phone now please can i have only genuine people that are interested in buying the phone

I am interested but this is my concern -

Copied from - http://www.nokia.ie/get-support-and-software/repair/european-limited-warranty

How to get warranty service.

If you wish to make a claim under this Limited Warranty, please return your Product or the affected part (if it is not the entire Product) to a Nokia authorisedservice company. You can call a Nokia call centre (national or premium rates may apply) for further details on how to make a claim. Information about Nokia authorisedservice companies and call centres can be found in the sales package, or at local Nokia web pages, where available.

Any claim under this Limited Warranty is subject to you notifying Nokia or a Nokia authorisedservice company of the alleged defect within a reasonable time of it having come to your attention and in any event no later than before the expiry of the Warranty Period.

When making a claim under this Limited Warranty you will be required to provide: a) the Product (or the affected part) and b) the original proof of purchase, which clearly indicates the name and address of the seller, the date and place of purchase, the product type and the IMEI or other serial number.

I can undersatnd your concern but if there is any fault with the phone you just need to bring the phone to a fone menders nokia repair centre or MPRC (mobile phone repair company) proof of purchase anythin like that sure in honesty who keeps the recpit. I asked work is there any chace of getting a proof of purchase and they said no as it was donated to them.

offer 180e

ironclaw
ironclaw asked a question 05/08/2009 11:42 am (2 years ago):

I'll go second in line at €180 as debranding costs about €20 to get done. And there is the lack of a receipt.

Joe Public
Joe Public asked a question 05/08/2009 11:59 am (2 years ago):

I think most people keep receipts for electrical/electronic equipment unless they are flush with money and can afford to throw away without following up on warranty should eqpt go faulty withing the period.

Anyway I'll take a chance and drop my offer to 190E.
