Just back from Paris & getting back to real life, no text from O2 yet re:unlock.....gonna check in with them later on it & will report back

Ok here's the latest, its my girlfriends phone & I just had her ring up O2 to see what the story was with the unlock

They said their records say it was unlocked late last week by Apple & a text should have been sent out however she didnt get one (possibly because she was in Paris with me since last Thurs but I dunno?) - they have however 100% confirmed it is unlocked

I could easily check this out by opening up the package & plugging it into iTunes & inserting my Vodafone sim but obviously that would mean opening up the plastic packaging etc & I dont wanna go doing that if it affects how any of you may feel about the sale, receipt will of course be included to prove it was only bought last week & put up for sale straight away

Little apprehensive to take Paypal as they take 4% so would really only get €480 for it....only way round it is if €520 was paid or if you were willing to do it via bank transfer & ill give you my home address & whatever details you wanted to put your mind at rest over it.
Would then send it registered post same day & supply tracking

FYI O2 have stated that as per their records the phone is unlocked, spoke to their rep last night

Phone was bought as a billpay upgrade so no need to have a certain spend in place before unlock was requested

Apologies so, just sounded like the story of O2 confirming it was unlocked was being discredited by the first part of your message.

I really want to open it up & make 100% sure this is the case but also dont want jeopardise its appeal by removing the plastic wrapping, would rather have the approval of a confirmed buyer to do so before I did it
