jackbauer10 asked a question 27/07/2011 11:10 pm (9 months ago):Overpriced!!!! They are listed on here for as little as 110 euro
rayocarebear says 27/07/2011 11:22 pm (9 months ago):@jackbauer10
The one listed for 110 has been taken apart and mods done to it. This is an original not ripped apart one which was purchased from apple a week befor the 2nd gen was launched for 270 just touching a year old and used a handful of times perfect in box. Sorry if you feel it's overpriced but if you try shop around for one the same condition and spec you'll find the price is fair.
carlosmico asked a question 25/08/2011 12:59 pm (9 months ago):What´s the best price you can give me?
rayocarebear says 25/08/2011 1:55 pm (9 months ago):@carlosmico
The best I could do if you were collecting is €120. I couldn't let it go for any less than that.
reidarren asked a question 02/09/2011 10:33 am (8 months ago):Can you stream media from your iPhone/iPad to Apple TV? As in play youtube directly to the TV?
rayocarebear says 02/09/2011 10:39 am (8 months ago):@reidarren
You can stream using AirPlay once you purchase an app from the AppStore called remoteHD. Ye it has a full YouTube section within the menu of apple tv so you can watch YouTube clips.
androl asked a question 02/09/2011 1:35 pm (8 months ago):You can buy them for €120 brand new in the shops, am I missing something here?
rayocarebear says 02/09/2011 1:39 pm (8 months ago):@androl
That's the 2nd gen which doesn't have a built in Hdd. Which means to listen to your music or watch movies you have to have your computer turned on. On this unit it can be used without having your computer on. These where €270 new and 2nd Gen are only €120. Huge difference between the two.
androl asked a question 02/09/2011 1:46 pm (8 months ago):Oh I see, tbh I only heard of apple tv today, I have an online account for streaming football matches that I then connect from computer to TV via HDMi cable that loses quality. I heard with a Jailbroken ATV that will not happen?
rayocarebear says 02/09/2011 1:57 pm (8 months ago):@androl
I'd say the 2nd gen might be best for that but I'm not sure. I mainly used this for music and videos. There are lots of features I've never even messed about with. Which provider do you use for streaming and I can try and look into it for you.
androl asked a question 02/09/2011 2:02 pm (8 months ago):I was looking into it there, they both can do that, so for what I need the cheaper option would be best. Cheers for your help!
rayocarebear says 02/09/2011 2:07 pm (8 months ago):@androl
No bother. I had a 2nd gen and they're a good unit. If you only going to be streaming it'd be better option for you by far. Best of luck
