UPDATE: 2 x 1GB RAM now sold. 2 x 512mb still available.
This RAM was taken from my now dead 13" Macbook laptop.
'Crucial' 2 x 1GB DDR2 PC2-5300S RAM modules. SOLD!!!
These currently cost 35 euros shipped from Crucial, so are priced accordingly. They are only around 1 year old and were an upgrade from the original 1GB ram.
20 euros.
'Hynix' 2 x 512MB DDR2 PC2-5300S RAM modules.
These are the original RAM modules from the laptop.
10 euros.

Brian68GT says 31/12/2010 2:57 pm (1 year ago):Think so, they are from the previous model MacBook, the one before the unibody, the one with the removable battery. Mine was bought 2006, but I only upgraded ram and hd last year. The extra ram made a huge difference, it stopped the spinning wheel if death from appearing every 5 mins. I'm only selling the parts because I sat on the laptop and broke it would you believe. 4.5 years out if a laptop isn't bad though, think I'll try the air next.

ahh sickening .. yeah I need to update the ram .... too sluggish but would need to be sure they will work in this model ..

Brian68GT says 31/12/2010 4:13 pm (1 year ago):No you dont understand, this is NOT from the unibody, its from the previous version with the removable battery, which is the one you have it seems. So it should be fine.
You can pop over and try it out, if it doesn't work don't buy it, no problem.

Click on 'about this mac' and see what the spec of the memory is. if its DDR2 then you should be fine, but to be doubly sure pop out the ram and read the spec on the modules. Should say PC2 5300s. If it does your laughing.
