Description:

I metal detect as a hobby, I am offering my services to anyone who may have lost jewellery or whatever in their garden etc I will search anywhere, fields, beaches etc

I will come to your location(must be in Carlow) or else you pay petrol costs

My metal detector is a "Garrett Ace 250", it can detect any type of metal, doesn't have to be jewellery

No catch really, i just like my metal detecting and like the exercise that comes with it

Contact a few companies and compare prices/quotes
Know exactly what you are getting for your money
Get quote in writing and ask for references

The best starter detector is probably the one from the picture in this ad, it's a Garrett Ace 250, it'll set you back €200ish shipped from the UK i'd say, I bought mine from regton in Birmingham,UK, this guy has a bricks and mortar shop and sells online

hi every one iam keen on this hobby for years just never got around to do it until now ..iam living in dunshaughlin co meath and would love to meet talk and join some kind of club for metal detecting ..perhaps go on outings and try different locations if any one else thinks the same way just drop me a line ..

how ya fighting irish =) i have a really quick Q for ya i was wonderin about da law like do u need ta call da guards and ask dem everytime you wana go out on a beach detecting and how far away do u have to be from national monuments? are we allowed to hunt public parks and farmers fields? it wud be brill ta hear back from ya =) happy huntin

just ordered the Garrett ACE 250 today, i used to be into this years ago with my dad when we lived in I.O.M. had some great finds on the beaches,really looking forward to getting into this again.Thanks to original poster and commments for firing my enjoyment of this hobbie to the fore again.
