Description (updated on 06/02/2012 at 03:23pm):
Nice wireless router with 4 ethernet ports and two VOIP ports. Good condition. Let me know if you need phone or ethernet cables, I'll throw some in free. Collect or meet in east Cork or Cork city, or I'll post or deliver at cost. Reasonable offers only please, I don't respond to lowballs.
I also have a newer WRP400, available here: http://adverts.ie/1147328 [SOLD NOW]
All-in-one Internet-sharing Router, 4-port Switch, and 54 Mbps Wireless-G Access Point. Features 2 phone jacks to enable feature-rich Internet telephone service and advanced security: WPA and a powerful SPI firewall. The Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router is really four devices in one box. First, there's the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect both screaming fast Wireless-G (802.11g at 54Mbps) and Wireless-B (802.11b at 11 Mbps) devices to the network. There's also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together. Connect four PCs directly, or attach more hubs and switches to create as big a network as you need. The Router function lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection.
The fourth function is the phone adapter which enables high-quality feature-rich telephone service through your high-speed connection even while you're surfing the Internet. There are two standard telephone jacks, each operating independently -- like having two phone lines. With Vonage Service, you'll get low domestic and international phone rates, Caller ID, Call Waiting, Voicemail, Call Forwarding, Distinctive Ring, and lots of other available special phone features. Choose any free local dialing US area code, regardless of where you live. Add a virtual phone number in any area code, or even a US-wide toll-free number.
To protect your data and privacy, the Wireless-G Broadband Router can encode all wireless transmissions with up to 128-bit encryption, and supports both Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) and the industrial-strength wireless security of Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA). The Router can serve as a DHCP Server, has a powerful SPI firewall to protect your PCs against intruders and most known Internet attacks, supports VPN pass-through, and can be configured to filter internal users' access to the Internet. Configuration is a snap with the web browser-based configuration utility.
With the Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router at the center of your home or office network, you can share a high-speed Internet connection, files, printers, and multi-player games, and turn that Internet connection into a high-quality, high-value telephone service!

dahamsta says 20/11/2011 2:08 pm (6 months ago):Of course.
Note that this is a WRTP54G, not a WRT54G. I've asked the mods to amend.

_007 asked a question 09/12/2011 4:51 pm (5 months ago):Does this unit have a cable or DSL connection?
dahamsta says 09/12/2011 4:52 pm (5 months ago):As with the other router, the docs say both but I've only confirmed DSL. The docs on the Linksys/Cisco site might answer the question.
_007 asked a question 09/12/2011 5:27 pm (5 months ago):Does it have a DSL phone line connection at the back?
dahamsta says 09/12/2011 5:40 pm (5 months ago):As I said, I've had it working with DSL.

donal asked a question 04/02/2012 5:44 pm (3 months ago):Is this still available?
donal asked a question 04/02/2012 5:55 pm (3 months ago):Oh - and according to Cisco's own docs, this doesn't have a DSL modem built into it. It does have an "Internet" RJ45 port to connect to your DSL or cable modem.
dahamsta says 06/02/2012 3:22 pm (3 months ago):You're absolutely right, and _007 was right before you, I was confusing this with the WRP400 I've since sold. Apologies. I've knocked a fiver off the price.
VIGY asked a question 11/02/2012 5:28 pm (3 months ago):Is this still available?
dahamsta says 11/02/2012 6:01 pm (3 months ago):Yup, just took it out of my home network.
