Description:
FS: 20" Philips widescreen, Flatscreen TV with virtual surround sound, twin scart sockets and side AV. Stereo outputs as well as built in speakers.
What you see in the pictures surround the TV, are the built in speakers which are excellent quality. Does not have Philips remote but All in One remote comes with TV that works with the features of the TV mapped correctly on the remote. Buttons for navigation are on top of the TV for easy access.
TV Stand came with TV and TV is screwed to it, screws can be removed to separate stand to transport it.
DVD Player is a Sony player with the remote it came with. It plays back DVD's and DVD RW's and CD's. It supports Virtual Surround Sound. DVD player comes with optical out I think and I'll check if you ask. Connects with Scart socket.
I'll expect the buyer to collect the TV from Maynooth and have a screw driver to take off the TV stand if they need to in order to fit it in their car. This is mostly because I don't have tools to do it for you and have no car to deliver it to you :) Willing to exchange for reliable Japanese car :D

thebman says 02/10/2007 9:06 am (4 years ago):Its about Xmas 2004 when I bought it maybe a little later into 2005. HDTV's were on the market at this stage but expensive so I didn't bother going for one at the time as I wanted something to watch TV on and play my Nintendo Gamecube on.
The only reason I got a new TV is because I wanted a HDTV for my Xbox 360 and there was a good offer going on Komplett.ie for a HDTV so I bought it.
The TV was between 300-400 Euro when bought. The DVD player is less than 2 years old and cost less than a 100 Euro.
