snooker / billiards / pool cue

Description

5 piece ash / hardwood handle’s cue in original case ! Purchased approximately 12 years ago from a sports shop in drogheda!
I did try and research the maker on line just recently, I cannot identify the maker manufacturer also if the cue was Taylor made ?? I bought this for my dad , paid big money at the time , it was one of the most expensive cues in the shop , I have used this cue twice ( borrowed from my dad ) in league pool !! My dad only used the cue maybe twice !!?? It’s as new … there is a England brass / metal stamp on the handle , which I can’t identify… so if anyone knows anything, feedback would be welcome.. Ps : I am playing pool for 40 years , so I do know that the cue is excellent!!

This has to be a cue made by reily or Britaina there the only cues that would of ever stamped England on there cues many years ago and they were 5 piece cues dont count me on it I no back then you probably paid crazy money for a cue of that calibre back then but now I think u should keep it in the family for many more years money cant buy a cue like this there probably worth a lot less then you think but its like everything you find the right buyer they will pay what you want them to pay hope this helps its all I can think of who sold cues back then like that

@Bicycle Bits appreciate the feed back / information
You could be right ? As I mentioned I bought this cue for my dad and it was the best one in the shop , they had Reilly cues with there name on them I had one myself .. unusual that there name is not on this one if that is the case ..? Thanks

Back then they stamped some of the cues with that trademark to be honest most cues sold back then in pool/snooker shops would of been britania or reily so I would say that was the case its not unusual I have an old peardon cue but it has a badge on it that just says made in England and a guy in the billard company told me it was a peardon cue so its not really unusual as I said I could be wrong but I have seen cues similar to this and it was a reily cue go in and ask the lads they would be delighted to help it would give u more an understanding how to price it and give you some cue information
