Hey, question unrelated to this item, apologies for butting in. Did you sell on your noble preamp that you had up?

profx 10 months ago

@FSWU: hi, yes i sold the noble

Is the hardcase that you have for sale specifically for this folding bass or would it work for a non-folding double bass?

profx 1 month ago

@LiamW2020: yes it's specifically for this double bass, its only as big as the body without the neck (so you can only fit the bass inside when you fold the neck inside the body)

Hi, how much would be shipping to New York approximately? Just want to estimate the total for me.

profx 1 month ago

@anton.o: I've no experience with international shipping so I may be wrong. I typed the specs into FedEx and i got 2 prices: 1st being like 2000 dollars and also a last minute quote for 125 dollars. Not completely sure what is the difference besides the price.

anton.o 1 month ago

@profx, thanks for checking the shipping options. It sounds about right, the last minute quote is the way to ship it, Just need to wait for the day when the last minute quote is available, as this huge saving only possible when they have an extra cargo capacity. (But need to be very precise with the dimensions and weight provided.) I would be willing to pay the full asking price if it would include the shipping. But I understand the inconvenience of shipping, and also waiting when the last minute shipping quote option is available.

@anton.o: yes that could work! we would need to figure out the details. let's switch to private messages then we see if we can do it. send an "offer" or some contact details please
