1990s Lowden D23 dreadnought guitar

1990s Lowden D-23 Dreadnought – Walnut/Spruce – Original Lowden Hiscox Case – Serial 8849

Rare and beautiful Lowden D-23 dreadnought, made in Ireland, featuring walnut back and sides, a spruce top and the original Lowden-branded Hiscox hard case.

The guitar is in exceptionally clean cosmetic condition for its age. I have owned it for over 25 years; it has rarely been played outside the house and has been well maintained and cared for.

The guitar has an installed pickup system with a 9 V battery connection. The system has been tested and is working, although I have not identified the make or model.

Serial number 8849, with a George Lowden-signed label.

Please examine the photographs for a detailed view of the guitar, including the walnut back, headstock, bridge, label and pickup installation. I can provide a sound demonstration and answer any questions about the instrument.

Serious buyers in Ireland are welcome to arrange a viewing and play the guitar by prior arrangement.
