Atkin White Rice 2020

Atkin's incredible take on the legendary Frankenstein D28 owned by Clarence White and then Tony Rice.

This is in excellent condition. Set up perfectly for flat picking or strumming. It's a touch high for snappy fingerstyle but it's not really built for that! With the combination of the baked sitka top and the enlarged sound hole it is loud and rich and powerful. Everything rings clear and is present and accounted for.

Its visually striking with the herringbone trim and back strip. The rosewood back and sides set is equally beautiful.

Alistair and his team in my opinion really have the special sauce at the moment. Their guitars are incredible. The aged nitro finish has shown a little wear in two areas. One at the front photographed and one at the back also photographed.
