Copy Martin D28 Cw

I want to make sure that everybody who sees this add knows I'm not trying to pass this off as a genuine Martin guitar.
This is a fake Martin D28 CW I bought from Ali express a couple of months ago so I could stand in front of the mirror and pretend to be Tony Rice/Clarence White. Pity it doesn't make me play like them. If you squint your eyes really hard it looks quite realistic . It has the enlarged sound hole with the fretboard over hang.

That being said this is definitely not a Martin guitar, you can see the neck is made of several different pieces of wood (not mahogany, but some other 'select' hard wood, the back and sides are laminated rosewood, the tuners are fake Waverly's, even the strings are fake D'adarrios!!! The top is solid spruce though, so it does push some air. All that being said it actually plays really well and for what it is, has been constructed quite good. The action is nice and low, it has volume and bass, plays nice up the neck. If I started out with a guitar this good I would have been chuffed.

This was essentially an impulse buy (late night shopping justifications) and I'm glad I got it as I was curious to see what these guitars are like. That itch has now been scratched. I would say it's a good instrument, especially for the price, and for someone looking to get into flatpcking bluegrass madness, you could do a lot worse.

Does not come with a gigbag, needs to be collected locally.
