Curly koa and figured koa are both premium, highly coveted variations of Hawaiian Koa wood. While "figured" is a broad umbrella term for any unique or wavy grain, "curly" is a specific type of figuring characterized by compressed, 3D stripes that shift and shimmer in the light.
