This is a U.S. M1916 leather pistol holster for the M1911 or M1911A1 pistol

This is a reproduction that has been dyed black to match the post-1948 equipment used by the U.S. Army, as prior to then the U.S. Army was still using brown leather for its holsters and other leather gear.

Large U.S.embossed on the holster flap.
Brass flap stud.
Brass belt hanger.
Perfect fit that will mold to your weapon after a breaking in period, just like a good pair of boots.

The M1911 is not included it is there to show the fit.

It's in excellent condition, with a small scratch on the back from being in storage and some of the paint has come off the M1916 hanger.

I’m doing a big clear-out at the moment and this is surplus to my needs.
