MassPortal D600 3d printer for repair or upgrade

This is an exotic heated chamber FDM delta-type printer with print envelope 400mm diameter x 620mm height. Bought in 2019 and briefly used for large engineering parts in PETG. It is missing the exterior sheetmetal panelling but believed to be functional if reassembled.
This machine uses Repetier firmware running on a RAMPS 1.4 controller board, a Raspberry Pi 3 for user interface, Ethernet comms and heated chamber control, and also includes two drying ovens in the base of the machine. Spools up to 2.5kg can be accommodated.
There are twin nozzles, a water-cooled coldend, and maximum nozzle temperature of around 400C. Maximum bed temperature is 120C. The standard bed is glass.
The machine produced high quality parts in our brief usage but had some reliability problems and should best be seen as a project for an partially or fully-fledged embedded engineer with a grand ambitions. Alternatively, re-engining it with modern 3D printing controls would be an absorbing Masters project for a graduate engineer with the right background. It cost us 15k euros originally but we will give it away to a deserving home if possible.
The machine was long-since replaced by Bambu Lab equipment in our use, due to lack of time to replace the controls with Klipper or other more modern platforms.
