@quality yes I got a mobile mechanic and he said couldn do it. He put wheel on after doin wish bone and now none the wiser . He came yesterday to fix it he took this photo cane to fix and said cant lol. So I dont know have new bolts and that
Take the cover off the 2 allen bolts you should be able to get a visegrip at them if that part comes off first
@presto7919 I dont belive you i had a mechanic out and said no cant do it , is it simple enough to do. The mechanic came done wish bone, and wrong bolts was put in , ended up in a worde predicament lol. Its my sons car and he has full test comming up thought was completely gone
You might be able to cut a slit in them with an angle grinder and take them out with a big flat head screwdriver. Ideally in a cordless drill with adjustable clutch or an impact driver.
If you loosen the two counter sunk screws and remove one bolt from the top of the brake callipers you can swing the calliper down and remove the brake disc.(this will not be easy to remove probably need to leverage it off or give it a tap of a hammer - discs are cast iron and are brittle) once the disc is removed you will be able to hit the top of the broken studs and they should pop out . Then all you need to do is put new studs in and use the nut to tighten them so they are fully seated in the splined holes .
If you have the studs the labour should take no more than 2 hours with a 50€ per hour going rate 100€
Im not charging to help the car owner
All I Said was cover 20 for fuel just so ppl no I'm not trying to make money I didn't even take the money and I'm goin back again today
I opened the torx screws
the two nuts are in so tight it like they have expanded not vise grips will budge them
I drilled one nut almost trough perfect hole
but my drill was wasnt able a strong dewalt XR I'm goin back today with a bigger drill and new hss bits
To try remove the bolts and save the hub but it may need a new hub
