***Screen protector still installed***

For sale is a fully refurbished and modified Sega Game Gear. Anyone who knows their retro tech will be very familiar with this legendary console.

Their main downfall when they got old, was that the capacitors would fail along with the outdated screen. This has gotten the full IPS kit, including, brand new laminated LCD, new buttons, contact pads, new speaker and completely new battery terminals and wiring. Last but not least, it has all been installed into a brand new see through shell, which shows off all of the old school tech and my amazing handy work;-)

The main board has had all of its capacitors replaced along with the sound and power board capacitors. Included with this package is the amazingly addictive Sonic 2, and the super cool Spider Man. Any games supplied have been opened and had their contacts cleaned. This will drastically reduce the need for a second ‘reload’.

Finally, a small cool feature of this mod, is the small touch sensor (copper pad) at the top of the case. This will cycle through the 3 different screen ratios depending on your preference. This can also be turned off in the menu if need be.

I’ve spent many hours doing this modification and I am super happy with it. ***Please, no offers…this is for the serious gamer/collector***
