Sega Megadrive (Open Heart Modded)

Sega Megadrive Model 1, modded via the Open Heart method (Pi Pico, and Mini OLED Screen).

This allows:

1) All Regions selectable using controller and/or reset button. USA 60Hz (red power led), JAPAN 60Hz (green power led), PAL 50Hz (orange power led)

2) Use of wireless Bluetooth controllers that can pair with the Pi Pico

3) Overclocking ON/OFF using the controller, this can alleviate slowdown in some games and make them smoother.

4) Master System Mode

...and many other nice tricks and features. The Mini OLED comes with a nice matching 3D printed display stand which suits the look imo.

The mod is open source, and used a freeware license. On power up, the user will need to match a number/letter on the OLED screen (button A increases the selection, B decreases it, and C confirms it.) Once unlocked, all features become available.

The console is sold without any accessories, and comes as a console on its own. It's intended that it operates alongside your existing Megadrive setup. If you don't already have a Megadrive, you'll need to buy a scart cable, power plug, and controller. No games included, and pics shown are for demonstration purposes only.
