Antique Horn Leg Leather Armchair, Unusual Hand, Crafted Chair

Very unusual antique/vintage armchair featuring genuine natural horn legs, dark leather upholstery and traditional brass stud detailing.

A striking and characterful piece with wonderful age and patina. The chair has a solid timber frame with traditional upholstery construction visible underneath, including webbing and hand-fixed elements.

The sweeping natural horn legs are the standout feature and give the chair a distinctive rustic / country-house appearance.

The chair is very heavy, sturdy and substantial.

It is being sold exactly as found. There is age-related wear, marking and patina consistent with an older piece, all of which I’ve tried to show clearly in the photographs. The underside has also been photographed so the construction can be seen.

There are old auction/inventory labels underneath, although I have no confirmed maker or provenance, so I am not attributing it to a particular manufacturer or exact period.

A genuinely unusual statement chair that would suit an antique interior, country house setting or restoration project.
