Classic Jaguar XJ6 Series III Leather Seat Bespoke Statement Chair

From the seat shape, separate oval headrest, vertical fluting and adjustment hardware, this appears to be a Jaguar XJ6 Series III front seat, rather than an XJS seat. The Series III was produced through the 1980s, and specialist trim suppliers show this style with red/mulberry leather options.

Classic Jaguar XJ6 Series III Leather Seat – Bespoke Statement Chair

A genuinely unique piece of automotive furniture – an original classic Jaguar XJ6 Series III front seat, finished in beautiful deep red/burgundy leather and professionally mounted onto a bespoke freestanding metal frame to create a one-off lounge chair.

The original Jaguar seat retains its distinctive period details, including the separate leather headrest, vertically fluted upholstery and manual seat/backrest adjustment. The leather has plenty of age and patina, particularly on the seat base, which adds to the character and authenticity of the piece rather than it looking like a modern reproduction.

This was crafted as a one-off statement piece and would look fantastic in a home bar, lounge, study, games room, man cave, office, showroom or automotive-themed space.

A brilliant talking point for a Jaguar or classic-car enthusiast – and something you’re unlikely to see again.

Condition: Used vintage condition with genuine age-related wear and patina to the leather and some marks to the metal frame, as shown clearly in the photographs.

Collection from Cabinteely, Dublin 18.

Suggested Adverts.ie price: €350–€450. I’d probably advertise it at €450 and see what interest you get; it’s unusual enough that I wouldn’t start too cheaply.
