Vintage (1980’s) ART SGX NightBass Pre-Amp Tri Channel Digital Effects and Tube Pre-Amplification System with Midi performance.
Intel processor, same as used in Lexicon products of the same period.
This replaced a full rack of processors and effects and could be carried over my should in this light weight 2-unit rack carry case which has seen better days (Zip broken at back)

Aural Exciter, Compressor/Limiter, EFX crossover, Programme equalizer, Patchbay/Pgl, Tube Pre/Dist, Noise Gate/Expander, Acu.Env. Sim., Envelope, Reverb, Gate Rev, Delay, Pitch Transposer, Flanger/Chorus, Sampler, Panner/Sfx.
All fully pre programmable.
Active Output crossover for Bi-amping.
2 Effects loops with send / return inputs
Headphone output + balanced and unbalanced stereo line outs
Midi In, Out and Through
2 x Remote Footswitch inputs.
Original manual included, also old Roland footswitch that I used as a Bypass switch.
Really there’s nothing that this unit can’t or doesn’t do… Solid state pre amp, valve pre amp and digital pre amp sections which can be mixed and matched with practice. This is a sophisticated piece of kit and takes a bit of initial programming but once mastered is truly brilliant.
New internal battery fitted not long ago and all set back to factory preset.
Comes with a selection of factory presets for both guitar and bass.
