Old Italian warming plate
Description
Old Italian warming plate with handle and raised feet. Lightweight, probably aluminium. From a 1950s Rome kitchen. Possibly used to keep food warm over a gas cooker ring e.g. focaccia, roast veg, potatoes. Cover plate/wrap food in tin foil to avoid scrubbing. Could be used over an open fire or barbeque. Warming/ridged area of plate 17cm x 19cm. In good vintage condition. See photos. €10 fixed.
