The CJR 14 Dory is renowned for its exceptional stability due to its unique trimaran hull design. In 2025, this boat underwent a complete, top-to-bottom modernization and professional overhaul (over 700 man-hours) using premium, marine-grade materials.

- 1. Hull & Interior Restoration
Hull:Fully stripped down to the bare shell. Repainted using a complete Hempel system: epoxy primer followed by 3 coats of marine paint.
Keel & Protection: The keel has been fully refurbished and serviced. The old keelguard was completely removed and replaced with a brand-new one.
- Reinforcement: Hull sides have been structurally reinforced to significantly increase rigidity and long-term durability.
- Structure: New transom board crafted from high-quality marine-grade plywood. Installed side stringers with custom stainless steel corner brackets.
- Deck: 5mm heavy-duty anti-slip aluminum chequer plate installed on the bow.
- Comfort: Brand-new, highly durable folding seats upholstered in genuine leather (360-degree swivel).

2. Durability & Onboard Equipment
- Fasteners: 100% of fasteners and hardware replaced with marine-grade A4 stainless steel.
- Deck Hardware: New stainless steel railings and mooring cleats. Heavy-duty PVC cockpit cover.
- Electrical System: Brand-new wiring, navigation lights, and control cables. **Installed a new high-performance Start-Stop battery (EFB 12V 65Ah 600A, purchased from Halfords in May 2026 for €206, comes with a 5-year warranty, receipt available)**, master isolator switch, and heavy-duty reinforced cables.
- Fuel System: Fixed 25L fuel tank fitted with brand-new hoses, non-return valves, and an inline replaceable filter.
- Features: Dual adjustable stainless steel trim tabs for superior stability and planing.

3. Cabin & Functionality
- Windows: Brand-new, impact-resistant polycarbonate windshield and enlarged, completely resealed cabin windows.
- Cabin: Reinforced cabin structure featuring an opening roof hatch and a secure, lockable cabin door for peace of mind.
- Storage: New locker lids with flush-mount stainless steel latches.
- Auxiliary Mount & Flooring: Anodized aluminum folding bracket for an auxiliary outboard motor. New anti-slip rubber flooring throughout the deck.

4. Fishing Gear
- Built-in compass and fishfinder / echo sounder.
- Two compact bait / filleting tables.
- Two trolling rod holders + horizontal storage racks for up to 5 rods.

5. Main Outboard Motor: Mercury 40 ELPT EFI
- Specs: 2006 build (USA), 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI).
- Condition: Only 430 original hours. Previously used strictly in fresh water (imported from mainland Europe).
- Features: Remote controls, electric start, and power trim & tilt system.
- Maintenance: Recently underwent a comprehensive, deep service. Installed a new ignition switch, new filters, and fresh engine and gear oil. "The entire impeller kit, propeller shaft seals, propeller shaft nut, and drive shaft seals have been fully replaced."
- Extras: Spare engine oils and a replacement filter included.

6. Fully Serviced Trailer
- Fully galvanized frame. Brand-new wheel bearings, hub seals, and dust caps equipped with grease nipples for easy maintenance.
- 2 new rims + new heavy-duty reinforced tires (165/70 R 14 XL).
- New jockey wheel, hitch coupling, and winch.
- New, fully detachable trailer light board wiring harness; stainless steel brackets for lights and number plate.

Full Kit Included (Ready for the Water):
5 mooring fenders, 10m anchor chain, 25m anchor rope, 2 oars, 5L fuel canister, transom tie-down straps, and an 8m launch rope.
