I paid €200 deposit into this person's bank account for this oil and tank. I requested them to send me the measurements of the tanks as to organise the collection of the tank. They said they would. I have heard nothing since despite messaging them on numerous occasions.

@hoho interesting!! To be fair Mr Hoho. You had every excuse in the book. You jeep was getting fixed. It will be another week. It will be another week. Excuse after excuse. I said I would hold for 10 days. No sign of you, no show. Nothing. What measurements do you want. Its a 2500L tank for god sake. You either wanted or you didn't. You chose the latter. If you say your collecting something. Do just that. You didn't. If you can't take or collect something, don't waste people's time.

Yes@ Buchailldand, when you take on with something you should do it, and keep your word. The last conversation we had , when I requested the measurements of the tank, you said that the tank was located a fair distance from your home and that you would measure it the next time you were on site and forward them to me. You failed to carry out my request.
What measurements do I need? It's a 2500litre tank.
Your advert clearly states that it is the buyers responsibility to organise lifting/collection.
In order to lift/collect the tank and as not all 2500 litre tanks are the same size, I wanted to make sure that the trailer I intended to use was of adequate size for the task. I made this fact clear to you in the conversation.
I definitely did not wish to travel a substantial distance and them discover that the tank would not fit into my trailer.
Measure twice, drive once.
If I didn't want the oil and the tank then why would I have bothered paying €200 into your bank account.
The ball was and still is in your court.
Send the measurements as you promised you would do.
