The unit was running 8 Rads and working perfectly.

@slick_kay Hi, best year to go for is 2020 and newer, date will be the back plate.
If there is any build up on the vent plate underneath the seal is leaking which means a rebuild.

The manufacturer leaves a lot of info on rebuilding the pumps which telle me they know it's a bad design. Any advice of best place to get parts.

@slick_kay The pre 2000 models were troublesome , there was a recall on quite a number of pumps .
I haven't rebuilt personally but at 25 Euro it's worth a punt is it 2000 or newer

It's newer, I'm pretty sure it is post 2023. This is the second one I've had installed. The prior one had a crack on the housing. These one definitely has a shaft seal issue from what I gather. I'm a mechanical engineer so I have decent understanding of these things
