This beautiful Vintage Staybrite 1950's silver tone brooch is made as a marcasite imitation in silver metal. This technique was developed by Charles Horner jewelry company: stamping shaped pieces of marcasite into the metal creates the marcasite effect. The brooch is in the shape of a leaf.
