I am assuming that there is some kind of chute for depositing inside the safe. Can it be removed or is it welded in

@Golf fan hi, yes you're correct. Small deposit hole at the top

Chute is welded inside at the top and two small welds either side at the bottom of the chute. If removals a dealbreaker, I can get it removed

Thank you for the additional info. Need it for documents and the internal space is very tight even after cutting out chute. I think i would be stuck for 20mm as an envelope holding Doc's is 340mm. Icould stand them on edge but would only get 5 in that way. Leave it with me
