Vintage STITZ C550 Closed-Channel Tripod

Vintage STITZ C550 Closed-Channel tripod, made in Japan.

A really solid, well-made vintage photographic tripod with a distinctive closed-channel leg design. Features 3-section adjustable legs, centre/elevator column and variable tilt-tension control on the head.

The tripod is in good vintage/used condition, with some signs of age and use consistent with its vintage. Please see all photos for condition and detail.

The tripod opens, adjusts and locks as expected. A lovely piece of vintage photographic equipment, suitable for a collector, photographer or anyone looking for a sturdy retro tripod.
