The 2007 Jaguar XKR Supercharged V8 is often described as a predatory big cat of a grand tourer: elegant and refined but ready to unleash its powerful, smooth V8 when provoked. It sits in the premium performance segment, competing with other luxury GTs by offering distinctive British style, serious straight?line pace, and engaging dynamics.

Built on a lightweight aluminium monocoque structure, the XKR is both stiff and athletic.
Sport?tuned suspension, adaptive damping (CATS), stiffer springs and recalibrated stability/traction control give sharper handling and a confident ride.
Upgraded brakes and larger ventilated discs enhance stopping performance.

Its powered by a supercharged 4.2?liter V8 engine with twin air intakes and variable valve timing.
This engine produces around 410hp and 413?lb?ft (560?Nm) of torque, giving it much more oomph than the regular XK model.
Paired with a 6?speed automatic with paddle shifters, the XKR accelerates briskly, hitting 0100?kmh under 5 seconds.
