Lovely Dakar Yellow low mile K1200RS

This is the in-line 4 'Brick' engine. Often referred to as the 'Million mile engine'.

Pulls very smoothly and very powerful.

Fast bike, well kept.

Just a little too small for me but love the very odd ride on it, really makes you smile.

Two New Bridgestone T33's on order and the bike will come with them fitted and balanced.

All new fluids : Oil + Filter, New Transmission oil, Final Drive Oil [80W-90 both], Plus new crush washers. All good.

New Clutch and brake fluid.

New pads front + rear.

The bike had a new clutch slave cylinder replaced when I bought it; and air was still 'trapped' in the line. I’ve done about 30 miles on the bike that’s it.

I had the clutch MC kit from Motorworks just installed and the clutch fluid reverse-changed so hopefully thats a fix.
These bikes are notorious for difficult clutch line air removal so it’s currently stored-up since yesterday with the system pressurised and the lever tied to the handgrip to get the micro air traps up and out.

Comes with both OEM panniers, an OEM BMW rear textile bag [rare] and a colour-matching leather tank bag. N.I. reg.

A very very smart looking machine.

Will miss it, Its just not for a 6ft rider, though some argue that but it's unfortunately too cramped for my calves. Bought to replace the RT [which is still for sale – I’m looking to sell that one and get a twin-cam RT or maybe a GT if that model fits me].

Paints very very good –and not just for a 30 year old machine, but there’s scrapes on the lower of the side fairings [on the chequer decals].

Original toolkit. Good recent battery. All else works very well.

Pulls. Like. A. Train.

Any questions fire ahead, Thanks.
