With 219kg fully fuelled it is not as heavy as GS-like big tourers yet plenty of power for fast mountain bends with great torque delivery low down. It is a mile-muncher on motorways with great stability and fairly low-revving engine which adds to ride comfort.

The updated 2024-generation Tiger 900 has the 888cc T-Plane triple engine, producing 108 bhp and 90 Nm. More powerful and noticeably more characterful than the previous generation, with strong low-down torque and excellent fuel economy (4.7 L/100 km).
