BMW 530D E60 with 229K Miles on the clock. I`ve owned it the last 8 years from 120K Miles. Its been well looked after during that time with oil changes every 7.5K miles and a comprenhesive maintenance history for that period. It is Sapphire black with a Dakota beige leather interior. It has parking sensors front and rear, a detachable towbar and soft close doors. Its the LCI model which means it has some features from the next generation like the auto selector lever. The smooth 6 cylinder diesel is the 230bhp unburstable M57 noted for its reliability and longevity and is running sweetly. The potential problem swirl valves have been deleted. It does 35 plus mpg on short journeys and about 45mpg on long runs so surprisingly economical. The 7 speed auto box had an issue a few years ago and had an internal clutch , fluid and filters replaced, no issues since. It also has a spare wheel kit as I moved away from the harsh ride and cost of the standard run flat tyres. Recent maintenance replacements are a battery , front shocks, a water pump and track rods. The mark on the drivers seat base is wear and not a stain. The only downside is it is the pre 2008 high road tax model, 1495 euro for the year or 422 per quarter. You pay less for these cars because of that. Your road tax is your depreciation and once you get your head around that, you just pay it and enjoy, which i`ve done during my eight years of ownership. It has 7 months NCT left and the road tax expires end of Nov 2026. Not a lot of these 3 liter 530D`s around, the price is 2000 Euro and Done Deal says I can expect 2500 to 2800 Dealer offers so its priced to sell quickly. Its a lot of car for that money....go on treat yourself.
