Older Nissan Leaf / Citroen C Zero / Renault Zoe new batteries costing in excess of €6000 not including fitting, so it is a real asset to have this EV with the assurance of running on full range and new batteries.

This car was originally designed with normal car batteries to power it but has now undergone an extensive conversion to lifepo4 lithium batteries.
The lifetime of these new batteries is said to be in excess of 30 years.
The current range is 110-130km. Most of my driving is in a very short radius but occasionally I cross the city center travelling 25km both directions so this car is well able for city center commuting. It also comes on holiday with us towed by our camper on a small trailer where it’s charged off campsite electricity. Trailer not included.

The maximum speed it can do is 80km per hour, but normally I’m at 40-55km.
It’s designed for city driving ONLY!!
It drives very well for a smaller car and is relatively comfortable with well padded High Spec Black & Red leather interior with matching red dashboard and red & black steering wheel. The heater is very good in winter and it has a brand new set of LED headlights.

This specific model is the last of the design which originally started in 2003. This is the highest spec Reva “i” Model with Lotus car maker designed safety package and front disc brakes & collapsing steering wheel safety specification.

It does not require an NCT as its road taxation class is a motorcycle due to its size but it DOES require a car licence and car insurance. AXA insurance covers them.
Road tax €38 per year.
Currently taxed until July 2027.

Very easy to park, drives great. Reliable little car, has never caused any problems during my 5 years ownership. This is my second one of these cars and there is a small following in Ireland for them having originally been imported here by greenaer.ie

CONDITION; I have a video of the battery conversion specialist examining underneath the car and giving his feedback on its condition. Genuinely rust free underneath. Yes!! Only 19,000 Kilometres, not miles.

Alloys wheels are original to the car and in excellent condition. Tyres are showing their age but does not affect my driving.

It gets a lot of attention in Dublin city center and people are always waving and smiling at it. The lacquer from the paintwork is peeling in places which is normal for red cars. If this bothers you buy a Tesla.

This cars best assets is the cheap motoring that will keep you laughing all the way to the bank. Perfect city car. Cheaper than the Bus, drier than cycling.
