Belt done at 220.000 around 5 years ago. Should be considered at next service.
Replacement ABS/ESP Control Unit was done 2 years ago. That's the most expensive "common fault" on this generation of Laguna and its done.
The 2008 is the Mark III (third generation) which had eliminated most of the earlier models known issues. The biggest danger was the ABS/ESP Control Unit which is done on this car
The only issues I know with the car are both their since I bought it 5 years ago. They never bothered me so I never addressed them
Radio/Temp Display: The digital display sometimes doesn't show clearly. Radio/CD works fine though
Rear Seatbelt Sensors: Occasionally gives a "belt unfastened" warning even if the seat is empty. I simply keep the rear belts clicked in. Its a very minor fix if it bothers you and you want to repair it.
