To make a long story short: I had to rush back to Spain, so I sold my car to someone who was quite happy after test-driving it, with the agreement that we would call off the sale if a pre-purchase inspection found any faults. That's what happened: the car drives well, but it has hidden faults that will cost around a thousand euros to repair. I've posted a photo with the list of them. This, despite the fact that right now I am not the owner of the car, I am trying to sell it.
The sale can't be finalized until he receives the logbook, which should arrive around Wednesday the 11th. He doesn't live in Kilkenny, which is where the car is parked. It's parked at someone else's house with their consent. I need to get it out of there as soon as possible.
I'm selling it at a ridiculous price for these reasons. Once it's repaired, you'll have a car with very low mileage and fully refurbished.
The timing chain has been replaced.
