Selling my reliable Golf 1.9 TDI. Over €7,000 spent on it in the last two years, so the big jobs are done.
Work done:
• Turbo replaced (2025)
• Front shocks replaced (2025)
• Rust welded (2025)
• Brake pads replaced (2025)
• Camshaft replaced (2024)
Recent service (August 2026):
Full service and pre-NCT check. Front tracking done, rear shocks replaced and some links replaced. Mechanic says it's good to go.

Flaws (being honest):
• Back left door doesn't open from the inside (opens fine from outside)
• Roof lining is sagging and needs re-gluing
The 1.9 TDI is one of the most dependable diesel engines going, and very cheap to run. Only selling as I don't need the car anymore.
