Reluctantly selling my mk5 GTI due to rising price of fuel.
Car has NCT until April 2027 and tax until November, tax is 700 yearly / 200 every 3 months.
I am the second owner of this car.
Has a 6 speed DSG gearbox and is at 220,000km which will rise due to daily driving.
This car has been looked after the work I’ve gotten done since I bought it at 213,000km follows below :
Timing belt kit & timing chain @ 213,000km
Thermostat + full service @ 213,000km
Updated turbo diverter valve @ 215,000km
High pressure fuel pump follower replaced @213,000km
Front and rear pads/disks + fluid change @ 215,000km
Drop links front and rear @ 215,000km
X2 front tires @ 217,000km
Previous owner has had the headlights and front arches replaced and paint matched also have documentation of that too.
Downside to it is the headliner is sagging its stapled as a temporary fix , passenger side door loom diagnosed needs to be replaced as the passenger window wont go down, the central locking still works on it though.
I’ve documentation of all work on the car from previous owner , I also have documentation of the timing belt / timing chain kit work done on the car shortly after I bought it.
Looking at the car from servicing it the PCV system (common failure point) has also been replaced by previous owner just before I bought it so that won’t have to be done for a while either . Along with the front arches and headlights .
Really good car which has had a lot of money put into both engine maintenance and the cosmetic side.
I’ve enjoyed driving it and hopefully the next owner will enjoy it as much as I did .
